It’s an entertainment-filled lead up to Christmas at Greythorn Central with fantastic music ensembles playing at Greythorn this December as well as the fabulous Mr Twist Balloon Twisting Clown and of course Santa Claus and his elf helper are giving out lollies.
December entertainment dates and Santa visits at Greythorn are:
Saturday 6 December
11am-1pm – The Italian-Australian choir Coro Furlan will entertain shoppers on Saturday 6 December with Christmas carols sung in Italian and English.
Saturday 13 December
9am-12pm – Santa and his elf helper will be giving out lollies along the Greythorn shopping strip.
10am-1pm – The Jazz Associates entertaining shoppers and The Amazing Mr Twist is filled with balloon twisting joy with free balloon creations being made for all families and children at Greythorn Central.
Saturday 20 December
9am-12pm – Santa and his elf helper will be giving out lollies along the Greythorn shopping strip.

Coro Furlan
This all-male choir has become a regular feature of Greythorn Central for our Christmas and Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebrations at Greythorn Central.
Singing songs in both English and Italian this choir delights shoppers and business owners with their impressive suited presence, distinctive vocal sounds and the joy and conviviality of songs in two languages.
Come join in the singalong with them.
Santa’ visits Greythorn
Saturdays – 13 and 20 December
Santa’s visit at Greythorn has been a long tradition and normally he likes to visit twice in December.
This year he will be visiting on Saturday 13 December and Saturday 20 December from 9am-12pm.
We have been told his Santa sack is absolutely choc-o-block with lollies and giveaways.
He will be ringing his bell and walking the length and breadth of Greythorn Central shops on Doncaster Road between Sylvander St and Harrington Avenue to the east and Trentwood Drive in the west.
Make sure you come and meet Santa and get your lolly pack giveaway.
Don’t post Santa a letter, instead hand it to him in person at Greythorn and that way you can make sure he’s got it.
While you’re there, come and have a photo taken with Santa.
The Jazz Associates entertain shoppers
Saturday 13 and 20 December – 10am – 1pm
Musicians will create vibrant entertainment as you shop, dine and unwind after a busy working week on Saturday 13 and 20 December. Shoppers are invited to come and discover the difference at Greythorn from 10am-1pm on the last two Saturdays before Christmas to enjoy the great entertainment that will fill the air with music for all generations and where Santa’s sack is full of lolly giveaways.
The Jazz Associates will have you toe-tapping and carolling to all your favourite Christmas tunes. Playing a mixture of upbeat jazzy tunes on the move, The Jazz Associates is an energetic brass duo who will put a smile on your face with fun vibes and toe tapping tunes!
The Amazing Mr Twist
Saturday 13 and 20 December – 10am – 1pm
The beloved Amazing Mr Twist is well known to Greythorn shoppers being invited to provide has amazing balloon creations in our Streets of Entertainment Saturdays each month at Greythorn.
The Amazing Mr Twist has delighted children all over Melbourne with his balloon twisting creations. He provides hours of fun creating various balloon shapes and characters to match any theme.
