Welcome to April and the start of the second quarter of the year. There is lots happening this month at Greythorn and in particular in the second half of the month with the Easter long weekend descending upon us from 19-22 April and hot on its heels is the ANZAC Day holiday on April 25.
Change of season
While the first signs of the wintery chills finished off March, April is warming up to give us a few more pleasant autumn days, so come and explore the wonderful offerings at Greythorn this month. Our cafes are brimming with new menu offerings to meet the change-in-weather taste bud selections. New season clothing styles fill the racks at Roxanne Fashions and if your house lighting needs a bit of a spark, then duck into Beacon Lighting and get inspired with a light bulb moment.
Foodworks and Aldi supermarkets are brimming with chocolates and Easter egg selections and Chef in a Box and Viva La Fruit have all your Easter cooking ideas covered with the latest in fresh meats, produce and meal ideas.
Shoppers and visitors to Greythorn will have noticed construction works on many footpaths, garden beds and parking areas. It’s all part of the $1 million Boroondara Council upgrade works bringing our shoppers a new look, warm and cosier shopping feel. The works are expected to be completed by 1 June.
So come wine, dine and unwind at Greythorn Central this April.
